Disney Day 3.5

My infamous Do Not Dance Picture. I know, lame!







Saturday was a lot of fun. Took Nessa to see Playhouse Disney. Is it sad that I knew allllll the songs? Went to see Captain EO in Tomorrowland. Just had to. Rained that night but it didn't stop our fun. Then today we walked Downtown Disney and headed on our way home. Unfortunately, we picked up a big bolt in my tire and was stuck on the side of 5 in LA. Nice way to end a trip huh? Either way we had a great time.

Disneyland Day 2

Today was our second day in Disneyland. It was a lot of fun. Vanessa rode Pirates of the Carribean and loved it. Haunted House - not so much. Went to Toon Town to go meet the mouse himself. Later that night we boogied to an 80s tribute band in Tomorrowland. Rode the Carousel, ate some ice cream and called it a night. :)

Disneyland Day 1

In Disneyland today. Only took 6.5 hours to get here with no traffic (if you know me, that is a blessing). Vanessa went on a lot of big girl rides and loved it. She also became the official greater at the park - saying hi to everyone who walks by. And she loves to the Tiki Room - who doesn't? :)

Christmas at the Zoo

Went to the Folsom Zoo tonight with Alisa. The animals were all about and the park glowed with lights everywhere. It was great sipping on our hot chocolate in the cool air just enjoying being together.

Giddy Up

Happy Thanksgiving. Had lots of yummy turkey on Thanksgiving and watched a lot of football. Then today we went up to Grass Valley (love love love G.V.) for the Cornish Christmas celebration. Vanessa got to meet Santa in the afternoon. She loved him. She kept sticking her tongue out at him - I think she was trying to show him her teeth because we said kept saying "show us your teeth" so she would smile for the camera. Then at night, as she was watching the ponies and kept laughing, we decided to put her on one for the first time. She pulled Daddy's hand anxiously in line. She laughed the whole time. Makes your heart melt!

Yo Gabba Gabba

Vanessa and I went to the Yo Gabba Gabba concert. My name is Laura ~ I like to Dance!!!!

Choo Choo

Busy weekend, but in the midst of it all we were able to take Vanessa to the train museum in Old Sac. She loved it. Though I hated all those creepy mannequins that look like people - kind of goes with that whole freaky doll thing. We walked around Old Sac with some ice cream - YUM! Then I came to the Eagle Theater where Ghost Adventures (a show that keeps me from sleeping with the lights off) did part of their investigation. I saw the rocking chair that was rocking in the show all on its own. I know Spalisa - scary!!! I tried taking pictures through the window thinking something would come up on my camera. You don't believe? Ask Spalisa. She has lots of good stories for the non-believer.
