Happy 50th Sue

Went to my aunts 50th birthday party in Pacifica this weekend. Crazy. Lots of babies, flip cup and cousin on cousin hazing. Welcome to the Lange's!

Darlene was filming the first video of flip cup. She is so cute! She didn't know the purpose of the game, but it didn't take her long to be a player on Jeff's team.

I filmed the second one. Typical Lange get together. Sorry it is upside down. Don't know how to fix it. Let me know if you do.

Stinson Beach 2011

The words to describe my vacation to Stinson: shopping, walks on the beach, crackers, smores, go fish, cheating at go fish, bunkbeds, pancakes, rocks on feet, wine, sweatshirts, elephants, Spalisas and Spaloras, knitting books, laughing, sunshine, birds, nutella, sand, photos, dogs, 2 am bedtimes, 3am everyone kicked out of bunk room since Johnny snores really loud, grocery store, friendship earrings, oysters, beach hats, memories, love, family.

State Fair

Here we are again - State Fair 2011. Ate enough fried food to last me until the next State Fair. I actually feel pretty sick right now, but hey it is only once a year, right? Did the demolition derby again, but this year they included RV Demolition. It was AWESOME! I included a video of its awesomeness. We ended the night with a funnel cake, fireworks and music at the Honkeytonk Saloon (no joke! That is what it is called).

I Survived!

The weekend started off with a comedy club show Friday night. We all went to see Charlie Murphy. Never go to a comedy club on your birthday unless you like being picked on by the comedians in front of an audience - not good!

Saturday night we headed to the drive-in to see Winnie the Pooh, which I was interested in watching but when you have boys chatting behind you, it makes it hard to see the movie. Love you boys :)

Today LeeAnn and I headed to Camp Menzies (LeeAnn is the Director of the camp, so I pretty much used that to do whatever I wanted that day), which is located about 8 miles up from Arnold in the hills (thought I was going to lose it on that horrible long bumpy road). Can you believe I went to camp and actually liked it?! Minus the dirt and bugs and the thought that snakes could be out, I did pretty good. When we went to take care of the horses, I fell in love with a miniature horse named Nettie. I was trying to figure out all day how I could put her in the car and take her home with me. She is better trained than Lola, so why not! Then at night we sang campfire songs around the campfire (duh) and when we were leaving, a baby bear cub and its mama ran by. Unfortunately, I am not quick enough with my camera. Good weekend!

Happy birthday to me

Went to the zoo today for my birthday. The weather was nice and cool - needed a sweater and pants in July (loving it). It was just me, Vanessa and my Starbucks and we quietly strolled to see all the animals in the cool brisk air. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.

Happy Fourth of July

Another hot 4th of July in Sacramento. Great weekend, though. We went to visit friends on Sunday and then headed to Folsom for big fireworks. We bought Vanessa her first light saber which she loved. On 4th of July we all headed to LeeAnn and Fred's house for their annual 4th of July party. They never fail us with the best illegals in town. Crazy!
