Ye Long Weekend

This weekend was busy from the beginning. Friday night, Alisa and Johnny watched Vanessa and gave Brian and me a date night. We went to go see Cars 2 - not my favorite Disney movie, which breaks my heart. Saturday, I had a wonderful open house and then the three musketeers conspired to have a bbq party later that night with some swimming. So, after my open house, I grabbed the family and we headed over to LeeAnns for swimming and bbq. Put Vanessa in her cute little swimsuit with a life preserver and she clung to me and then LeeAnn for dear life. Sunday, we all headed to church, then to Gymboree, then we went to pick up Nat and we all headed over to the Renaissance Fair. It was interesting to say the least.

Fathers Day

On Friday we went to the El Dorado County Fair and it was a lot of fun. We ran into friends at the Beer Tree - of course - and had a wonderful evening. On Saturday we spent the day at the Grandparents house and had some wonderful food with family. Fathers day was a day for Brian and he is golfing right now!

Turtle Power

After a tree branch landed on the hood of my car at an open house, I declared a Vodka Collins night. So, Brian and I went with LeeAnn, Fred, Lamid and Steve to Claim Jumpers for some yummy food followed by some crazy karaoke singing at the Glass Turtle. Everyone was singing and having a great time and for awhile I forgot all my worries. I've got great friends!
